"A father is always making his baby into a little woman. And when she is a woman he turns her back again."
~Enid Bagnold
There's this picture of me as a little girl (around 4-yrs I think) and my Dad and I are holding hands skating around the roller rink. It's sweet as it almost looks like I'm leading him and he's being pulled around by this little Asian girl one-third his size.
Sorry for the extremely-poor quality, but here's that picture of a picture from my HS Senior collage (yeah, we did one of those...). The original is 4 states away.
Even almost a quarter of a century later, I still feel like he's my big Dadder and I can lead him around (or think that I'm leading him) and he'll hold my hand.
Dadder's a big softie at-heart.

ah, what a sweet post. i SOOO wish you would have posted that picture from when you were four. perhaps you'll post it later? sounds way too cute.
thanks girl! unfortunately the only copy i have is pasted onto my high school senior collage poster so i couldn't scan it. but i suppose a picture (even if horribly blurred) is worth a thousand words =)
