Ringing in the New Year

I'd missed hosting a party in 2009, so New Year's Eve was my last shot at it. There were 8 of us in all, and after the Midnight countdown {actually we were all talking and missed the ball dropping}, we played Catch Phrase, Uno, and Charades until after 2am.

I didn't get very many photos, and even missed getting one of some new friends that came, but it's just as well because we were all enjoying ourselves too much.

The Bug did great, he went to bed late {around 10:30} but thankfully I got a photo of him before he fell out {poor guy was too tired to be taking paparazzi shots}.

Both my brothers and Pink Pimpette came in town too for the weekend.

The house was cleaned and I just threw some cheap, cheesey clearance tinsel and lots of silver party decor around.

It was a comfortable come-and-go night with tons of yummy food {as can be evidenced by the table photos taken AFTER everyone was winding down...there was still food for days!}.
And the night went on...
